what’s cookin’ good lookin’?

It’s an unkept sprezzatura of fashion

Gant Rugger designer Christopher Bastin has done it again with a clever and playful point of view for this season’s collection. The concept rotates around the life and style of two of NYC’s most sought after restauranteurs – the owner and the chef of Fat Radish. Both enviably handsome and sophisticated they make great models in the campaign, but more importantly – it was the attention to detail and their miss en place around the kitchen that earned them the place as muse to Mr. Bastin.

Like a perfectly crafted meal, the collection borrows Fat Radish’s sense of layers, flavors and unexpected risks in their dishes and infuses that into a line that is full of texture, interesting color choices, paisley linings, a wealth of constructed jackets and plenty of room to embellish and relish as one sees fit. The look is cool – old american and rich. If I could dress like this every day – i absolutely would. See more HERE.
